The Twelve Days of Holiday Organizing: Prepare Your Pantry
December 14, 2016DIY Project – Turn Your Old Greeting Cards into Gift Tags
This idea has been around for many years (we think Martha Stewart brought it into the main stream). Repurpose those holiday cards that you can’t part with because they are so beautiful by turning them into handy gift tags.
For those of you who dabble in paper crafting, you may want to pull out a basic 2” circle punch (click here for our favorite). Center the punch over the design and cut out a circle. Viola! You have an instant tag! Use a standard hole punch to create a hole at the top for a ribbon to tie on to a gift.
If you don’t have access to a paper punch, simply use a small juice glass to trace a circle on the back of the card design and cut out with scissors. Then do the same as above by using a standard hole punch to put a ribbon through the top of the tag.
Here’s a picture of my tag project. Super easy…and fun, too!

I started organizing from a very early age. As a teenager, I tried very hard to have a messy room but only ended up having messy piles that were neatly arranged. Later in life, my friends started asking me to help them organize their closets, homes, garages, etc. It's something I love to do! Now, I have started a Professional Organizing business to do what I love to do everyday and at the same time help people take control of their lives and spaces. My services include helping people organize
