Your used, broken, nubby, flat, worn-out crayons could bring hours of joy, relief, fun & imagination to a sick child while in the hospital.  It’s true!  While reading Sunday’s Parade magazine article, America the Unique:  Celebrating Our True National Treasures, I read about the Crayon Initiative that re-makes these seemingly useless crayons into new Crayons for sick children.   So much better than sending used up Crayons to the landfill or keeping them around for Crayon-melting art projects you will probably never get to.  No, your kids will not miss that project.  They have other art project sets ...
