Celebrity Closets
Oh to have an amazingly beautiful closet like a celebrity’s where space is not a restriction and designer names drip from hangers and shelves. Architectural Digest recently gave us a peek into several celebrity closets; Mariah Carey, Elton John, Khloé Kardashian, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Nina Garcia, Gisele Bündchen, Brooke Shields, Ellen DeGeneres, Tommy Hilfiger to name drop a bit.
We thought it would be super fun to peek in and compare our meager closets to their closet palaces.
Here are 3 things I did notice:
- Space for most celebrities is just as restrictive for them as it is for us. Some of the closets are not very large.
- Some have too many of one thing just like we do.
- Elton John’s sunglasses collection
- Khloe Kardashian’s shoes
- Putting their personality in the space is what makes it feel designer.
- Marc Jacobs’s stuffed bears on the shelf
- Nina Garcia’s flowers & framed art
- Ralph Lauren’s suitcases & hat on the stand
- Tommy Hilfiger’s fun wallpaper on the ceiling
Truly, I understand the closet envy as I have a very small closet and yet find ways to boutique my small space. Every day, I am faced with this challenge for clients too. Here’s a video showing a client’s closet organized and personalized.
