The Poised Traveler’s Pre-Travel & Travel Checklists
There are thousands of travel checklists available online and on cute note pads in little boutiques that remind you of the obvious items to pack. There’s nothing better than squishing your toes in cool sand while ocean waves trickle across your feet melting stress away. Don’t ruin those blissful moments & bring stress into your tropical paradise get-away by failing to pack 4 essentials.
If you aren’t going to an all-inclusive whatever—maybe renting a beach house or heading to the lake—you’ll want to take beach towels. But they don’t have to take up all your packable space or take all day to dry. Dock & Bay makes an oversized microfiber ...
School’s out for summer! With jackets, paper, pencils & backpacks sent flying, you and your kids are running and yelling as you race to be poolside on your vacation. It’s the most natural reaction and well deserved.
But what about those backpacks? Those black, heavy, ripped, dirty, endless hiding places backpacks? What could be lurking deep inside? You’ve asked the kids if there is any food left in them but do you really believe them? Remember last year…what you found….at the end of summer after it had set for three months? Is your pantry so nicely organized you’re tempted to leave the doors open? Or does the jumble inside scream, “No more”? Years ago, I wrote a blog for California Closets on how to make and keep your pantry efficient and beautiful. Here, I have updated those tips to work for any pantry space. Re-evaluating your pantry set-up takes a little time and effort but will make planning and cooking meals much more enjoyable. After all, preparing food for yourself and those you love is the core of self-care and self-love.
Warm weather is here and you want to perk up your front landscaping with spring flowers, but your tools are in the garage…..somewhere. Your kids are also ready to grab their bikes, scooters and sports gear for some quality time in the great outdoors. Instead of hunting high and low for these warm weather items, take time to sort and organize them so that you can all get to the fun stuff!
