What are the benefits of decluttering?
At the end of each organizing session, my clients say how much better they feel now that the clutter is gone and the space is appealing. Then they give me a big hug! Here’s the truth. Those of us who have the gift of organization naturally see patterns. Patterns help us see all the ways to group items. Understanding how to group creates clarity. Clarity helps you prioritize possessions into spaces or To Do’s on a calendar. Those priorities become the patterns on your calendar, planning how to run your errands, how to organize a space/home/office, how to manage a project or just how to get through your To Do list.
Today, I received a call from a mom with two small kids and one on the way. Her comment is one I hear a lot: “I used to be able to keep up with all the stuff before the kids!” When kids & life comes along, it creates more stuff for us to manage. It can get overwhelming!
